About the service
Ludle is an independently operated video-game guessing website based in Québec, Canada. It is currently free to play. These terms explain the rules for using ludle.app.
Playing and keeping an account
Daily puzzles allow up to ten guesses and reset according to your selected browser timezone. An account lets you keep progress across sessions, choose a public name, and access account-only features. Protect access to your email and Google account, and do not share sign-in links or use another person's account without permission.
Catalog information and clues can contain errors. Availability, puzzle selection, and features may change. Rankings and streaks are for entertainment, not prizes or monetary rewards. The service does not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free records.
Public names and respectful use
Choose a public name appropriate for a shared leaderboard. Do not use it for advertising, promotional links, spam, impersonation, harassment, hate speech, vulgar or sexually explicit content, or another person's private information.
To protect the community, the operator may remove an inappropriate public name, hide a leaderboard entry, request a name change, or restrict abusive access. A name-moderation action is separate from a request to delete an account and its data.
Fair play and security
Do not manipulate scores, evade guess limits or rate limits, automate abusive requests, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with the website, or attempt to access someone else's information. Report suspected security issues privately to support@ludle.app; do not include passwords, tokens, or other secrets in a report.
Game information and ownership
Game information is supplied by IGDB and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Game names, artwork, trademarks, and other third-party material belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement of or affiliation with Ludle.
Ludle's original software and branding remain proprietary. Using the website does not grant permission to redistribute its source code or third-party assets. Rights provided by applicable law and third-party licenses are unaffected.
Privacy and leaving Ludle
The privacy policy explains account data, public results, browser storage, and privacy requests. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@ludle.app. Requests are handled manually and may require ownership verification. Signing out does not delete your account.
Changes and your legal rights
We update the effective date above when these terms change and provide notice of material changes where required by law. Future paid features would need their own pricing and applicable terms before purchase; no subscription is being sold here now. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
